LOTECH has made a very nifty module for modul8 called QuickFX (see his blog post here) and asked me about the RGBOffset plugin, and I felt it would be nice to include it with his module for free! It is part of the IntrinsicFX Colmatic pack, but is now also downloadable from his blogpost in relation to this module (Mac only). Just as a semi-bundled gift =)
Here is a video demo of the module in action:
I've played around more with the Xbox Kinect and FreeFrame plugins: free download
These are PC ONLY, and only an FF1.0 CPU version of this newly attached one for now, I'll see what I can do later with FFGL version, and if anyone want to *give* me a Mac I might make a Mac version, otherwise it will have to wait till I get a new Mac I'm afraid :S
The plugins use the OpenNI library internally to get the depth image in real time from (in theory any PrimeSense/OpenNI module) the Kinect controller, on PC.
The FFGL Plugin loads as a source plugin in Resolume Avenue and other software that has FFGL support. Here is a tutorial how to (try, no 100% promises it will work for you) get it up and running (in full article) and there is a FFCPU version too (FF1.0).
Update still delayed sorry, but I've worked some on it.
This is a free download (attachment/link at bottom of article), as a little contribution to the community :)
I've long thought that there must be a way to accomplish a post-rendering antialiasing (removing of jagged edges) on videoframes, and from time to time I have been searching for this, I recently found this research paper by Alexander Reshetov at Intel Labs on MLAA (Morphological Antialiasing), implementations for CPU and GPU are out there and it is pretty neat!

Antialiasing/smoothing of edges might be nice for VJing since output is large scale w/projector, still as mentioned underneath, there is a performance hit on CPU processing with this one, nevertheless I decided to make another FREE FreeFrame 1.0/CPU plugin (attached at bottom of full article) for MLAA processing. I will look into making a GPU version sometime too, and might add an FFGL to the download, sorry to say this one is also PC Only, due to proprietary tech not implemented by me, I've just integrated it into a FreeFrame plugin basically, with some parameter control, ++. I am hoping to add some free releases for Mac too, it will come. (more in full article).
Download full list of all IntrinsicFX plugins and parameters in .csv, .xml and .html format (all in one zip file). Attached at the bottom of the article.
Where are my downloadable files?
VJFX.com is using Ecwid for the new online shop, and you need to "sign in" here on the shop page to get to your downloads that are served through Ecwid's servers.
If you've purchased plugin packs offered from there, those can be downloaded there also, until the underneath system is in place, and you'll be transfered based on dates of purchase etc.
VideoFX Plugin Subscriptions?!
The backbone system is under massive changes to make it possible to subscribe to upgrades on a per-plugin basis, create a custom pack and more. When this new system is complete you will be able to add/remove/continue subscriptions based on preference, small fees to continue getting upgrades past 1 year per plugin, and add more plugins to your current purchases with offers given based on what you already own and how much you purchase at a time, but this will come when it is ready, 3 x T, but I have a lot working already :)
Purchased anything before the current shop system?
I hope to copy old orders into the new system/shop, but for now, contact me here if you need to re-download an old purchase, as until the new system is in place I will make this available for you manually, so please contact me here :)
